Hi, I'm Azan.

I'm a solo developer who's spent the last seven years building and maintaining websites, web apps, and internal tools for small businesses, startups, and the occasional weird side project.

I started Upkept because the same story kept repeating: a small business pays an agency a fortune, ends up with a site they can't change, and gets ghosted the moment something breaks. I do the opposite — direct contact, fixed quotes, full code ownership, and a maintenance plan that actually answers when you email.

When I'm not writing code, I'm usually reading about systems design, drinking too much coffee, or trying (and failing) to fix things around the house.

Yes. Most maintenance clients come with an existing site. I'll run a quick audit first, fix anything urgent, then take over updates, backups, and monitoring from there.

Scope. A simple landing page sits at the starting price; more pages, e-commerce, or custom features move it up. Either way you get one fixed number in writing before work starts — and it never changes mid-project.

Every maintenance client gets a private Trello board. Drop a card with the issue or request (a screenshot helps), and you'll see it move through To Do → In Progress → Done in real time. No tickets lost in email threads, no guessing what I'm working on.

Projects: 50% to start, 50% at launch. Maintenance: billed monthly, cancel anytime. Invoices in USD via card or bank transfer.

You do — 100%. Full source code, accounts, and documentation are handed over at the end of every project. No hostage situations.
